VivaCell-MTS briefs school students on mobile technology basics

Today, Feb 7, VivaCell-MTS head office hosted about 100 schoolchildren from Anania Shirakatsi gymnasium. The open doors event was aimed at enabling the school students of Armenian secondary schools to familiarize themselves with the company’s operational processes and basics of mobile communications technology, the company’s press service reported. Through social responsibility projects VivaCell-MTS aims to support the educational system of Armenia.

“We attach high value to the organization of mobile literacy classes. As a mobile operator company and corporate citizen we feel responsibility for teaching children in ethical aspects of using mobile phones in public places, and which is the most important, using cell phones while driving. This is not just to inform. We aim to raise awareness with the change in the conduct as the outcome,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager stated.
