AZERI INHABITANTS IN GEORGIA BLOCKED HIGHWAY TO ARMENIA
The inhabitants of the Marneul region of Georgia blocked the highway to Armenia, demanding to resume the energy supply to the region, which had been stopped because of the low rate of tax collection. As reported by RIA Novosti, the highway is mostly blocked by the Azeris living in Georgia. The protest action resulted in creation of traffic congestion stretching for several kilometers at the distance of 14 km from the Georgian-Armenian border.
