Mila Kunis eyed up to portray Jackie Kennedy

Mila Kunis is being lined up to portray former First Lady Jackie Kennedy in Lee Daniels' The Butler.

The Friends With Benefits star is being eyed up by the Precious director to appear in his next movie, Belfast Telegraph said, citing The Hollywood Reporter.

John Cusack is on the list to be cast as former US President Richard Nixon, while Hugh Jackman is also reported to be up for a role.

Based on a true story, The Butler - which Lee initially signed on to in summer 2010 - follows the life of Eugene Allen as a servant in the White House, where he worked for 34 years and under eight presidents.

David Oyelowo is in talks for the lead role as Eugene, with Oprah Winfrey, who was executive producer on Precious, to portray his wife. It would be the chat show host's first turn on the big screen since 1998's Beloved.

Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz and Mo'Nique starred in Lee's low budget indie drama Precious, which went on to win two Oscars, after receiving six nods.

Lee's upcoming drama, The Paperboy, will star Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron, John Cusack and David Oyelowo.
