Russian gas supply to Armenia suspended

Russian gas supply to Armenia through Georgia has been temporarily suspended due to an accident on the 61-kilometer gas pipeline in Georgian district of Gardabani.

Gas transportation company has already launched reconstruction works with Georgian Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri following the process, Georgian Oil & Gas Corporation (GOGC) press service reported.

“Gas supply to Armenia will be resumed in a day,” Georgian media quoted Khetaguri as saying.
