Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited war prisoners in Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

“The Red Cross employees visited an Azerbaijani captive in Artsakh, while ICRC representatives in Baku paid a visit to three Armenian prisoners of war and a family kept in Azerbaijan and handed a letter to them,” the Red Cross official told PanARMENIAN.Net.

Basing its activity on the Geneva Conventions, ICRC has operated in Armenia and Azerbaijan since 1992.
