U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk group stressed the existence of numerous opportunities to develop humanitarian ties between Nagorno Karabakh conflicting sides.
Asked as to whether new steps are expected to be taken in the framework of humanitarian cooperation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Robert Bradtke underscored the importance of development of humanitarian relations.
“Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan reassured further development of humanitarian ties. We are only now starting to step up humanitarian links. This is just the beginning. Cooperation in this stage inspires hope,” APA quoted Bradtke as saying.
Noting that OSCE MG co-chairs visited the border between Artsakh and Azerbaijan last December, Bradtke said, “people residing on both sides encounter similar problems, such as water supply and energy problems. We aim to build cooperation between people facing the same problems.”
