Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan issued a congratulatory statement on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day.

“Dear women, I congratulate you on the Women’s Day and wish you happiness, good luck, healthy and strong families. I am glad to see increased participation of women in all spheres of our country and public activities. At the same time, Armenian women maintain their traditional role and unique precious features. This spring holiday is a wonderful opportunity to reaffirm our commitment, love and appreciation to our mothers, spouses and sisters,” the statement says.
