Readability app expands to Android platform

The long-awaited Readability app for iOS made its debut last week, bringing an official front-end to its time-shifting and text-reformatting service to mobile platforms. Now it has expanded by launching its app on the Android platform as well, The Next Web reported.

The app isn’t available on the Google Play Market, yet however, it’s launching as an Amazon Appstore exclusive. The move is an interesting one, and likely aimed at taking advantage of the Kindle Fire’s ‘reading centric’ audience, the report says.
