OSCE Mission to hold regular monitoring of contact line

On March 29, in accordance with the agreement with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will hold scheduled monitoring of the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces in the Martouni direction, near the village of Kuropatkino.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring is to be led by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzey Kasprzyk (Poland). The monitoring group will comprise the OSCE Office Coordinator Peter Kee (Great Britain) and Field Assistant of the PRCiO Antal Herdich (Hungary).

On the opposite side, the monitoring is to be led by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office William Prior (Great Britain) and Hristo Hristov (Bulgary).

The NKR authorities expressed their readiness to assist in the monitoring conduct and to ensure security for the OSCE Mission members.

From the Karabakh party, the monitoring mission will be accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense, NKR MFA press service reported.
