Kocharian reiterates possibility of NKR recognition

PanARMENIAN.Net - If Baku puts forth efforts to use domestic situation in Armenia in order to realize its goals in the Nagorno Karabakh process, Yerevan will have to toughen its position, Armenia's President said.

"The Armenian side will be more resolute and will make no concessions," Robert Kocharian told reporters.

"The best guarantee of firm positions in the Karabakh process is sustainable development of the country. As I have already said, I do not rule out recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic by Armenia if Azerbaijan leads the talks to a deadlock," the outgoing President said.
