EU Commissioner: I fully support peaceful resolution of Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - EU Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy, Ms. Benita Ferrero-Waldner stressed the necessity to resolve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict peacefully.



"I fully support peaceful talks for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The recent hostilities in the region proved that conflicts can't be resolved by use of force," she said during a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.



The officials also considered bilateral cooperation within the ENP, Trend Azeri news agency reports.
