The Committee of the European Parliament on foreign affairs, security and defense has heard and accepted on Tuesday the report of the Swede Deputy Per Garton about the new strategy of the European Union concerning the Southern Caucasus countries. The report is interesting first of all because it calls on to include Armenia and other two countries of the region in the list of countries involved in the program ''Enlarged Europe - New Neighbors''. On February this initiative will be discussed at the plenary session of European Parliament. Moreover, the participation in the program will allow enjoying certain rights available only for full members of the Union, for example, the free circulation of people, goods, services and capitals.
