Council on e-society to be formed in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the frames of the Concept of e-society development approved by the Armenian government the Council on e-society chaired by RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will be established in armenia, head of the strategic group of Information Technology Development Support Council, NAS Academician Arman Kuchukyan told a news conference in Yerevan..

According to him, establishment of the Council on e-society in short terms (3 years) will help to implement the basic provisions of the Concept and ensure effective cooperation: citizens - the state - business, minimizing corruption risks.

In this context, the expert highlighted the need to improve Internet literacy in the country, from school age to the adult years.
