SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF OSCE CHAIRMAN-IN-OFFICE FOR KARABAKH CONFLICT FOR ACTIVATION OF SETTLEMENT PROCESS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The other day President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) Arkady Ghukasian received Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to Armenia and Azerbaijan, Representative for the Karabakh conflict Philip Dimitrov. In the course of the meeting the parties discussed the conflict settlement process and possible steps within that context. Having underscored the concernment of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office in peaceful settlement of the confrontation, Ph. Dimitrov said he was for activation of the process. In his turn the NKR President noted the importance of questions of security and status of Nagorno Karabakh, as well as the impossibility of solution of the conflict without taking into account the interests of the NKR people. At the end of the meeting, A. Ghukasian confirmed the readiness of the Karabakh party to solve the problems available via dialogue.
