RESIDENTS OF AKHALTSIKH AGAINST BAKU-TBILISI-CEYHAN OIL PIPELINE

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 1 residents of the Georgian town of Akhaltsikh closed all the roads that lead to the town. As reported by Imedi Georgian TV Company, in this way the population is protesting against the construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline as the trucks, weighing many tons, are being used in the construction works, causing great damage to the roads of the region.
