SWITZERLAND CAN PUBLICIZE BANK SECRETS OF CIS DEPOSITORS

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the near future many famous and influential citizens of the CIS countries may find themselves in a rather ticklish situation due to declassifying and blocking their foreign bank accounts. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, the point is that lately within struggle against terrorism the ministers of finance of the 15 EU countries signed an agreement, according to which the concept of bank secret is in fact abolished. As a result, all anonymous accounts in the European banks will be posed under the threat of being blocked. According to some data, the EU has closely approached the inclusion of Switzerland in the process. The European bank structures ground their position on the need to discover not only organizations financing the terrorists, but also people having much capital of unknown origin on their secret accounts. It looks like Swiss banks have nothing to object to that.
