The identification process is going on in Sochi.Meanwhile the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations seeks for technical equipment for the withdrawal of the record boxes. In case the essential equipment is not found within the country Russia will resort to the help of foreign specialists. The record boxes lie at a depth of some 680 meters. The seawater at the depth is a very aggressive medium that can corrode the boxes if they are not taken out within shortest terms. The search operation headquarters members suppose the plane broke into manor pieces from crashing into the water. The wrecks of the plane that are taken out of the water are small. As a source in the headquarters said, if the fuselage were intact, the fragments of the plane would not have been dispersed. Totally 23 cubic meters of the wreckage were withdrawn.
