ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN DEFENSE MINISTERS AGREED ON COOPERATION AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE IN MILITARY SPHERE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian defense minister Serge Sarkisian, who is in Moscow with an official visit, and Russian defense minister Sergey Ivanov have signed today two intergovernmental agreements: «On joint use of military infrastructure units» and «On information exchange in military sphere». Russian media reports that as Ivanov stated after signing the documents, the two countries are unified «not only by commitments to each other, reached within the framework of bilateral agreements that were 14 for the last two years, but also a single air defense system and the united units of troops deployed in Armenia». «All this let our states to be confident in future», the RF defense minister noted. In his turn, Serge Sarkisian noted that since Armenia is located in a «difficult region», the cooperation with Russia make us feel «confident and protected».
