Deputy prosecutor general joins ex-President

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy prosecutor general Gagik Jahangiryan joined the movement led by Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan. Addressing the rally in the center of Yerevan, Jahangiryan said that "the election was conducted with numerous falsifications."



"I call on you to protect your votes. It's high time to join the struggle and establish the rule of law. I am a prosecutor and I state that no general and prosecutor will stand against the people" he said.



Heritage faction leader Raffi Hovannisian also took the rostrum at Liberty Square today.



Former Armenian Ambassador to Greece Arman Navasardyan, who also joined the opposition, offered "to carry Levon Ter-Petrosyan in their arms to 26, Baghramyan Avenue (the presidential residence), IA Regnum reports.
