Karabakh's Martakert targeted by Azerbaijan at dawn

PanARMENIAN.Net - The town of Martakert and neighbouring villages were again targeted by the Azerbaijan army at dawn on Wednesday, October 21, Nagorno-Karabakh's State Service for Emergency Situations reports.

"The adversary used aviation in the same direction the day before and bombed civilian infrastructure," the Service said.

"The Azerbaijani Armed Forces not only crudely violate the humanitarian ceasefire, but also use banned weapons on the peaceful population."

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.

Donations can be made to Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, which has launched a fundraising campaign to support humanitarian efforts in Karabakh.
