Azerbaijan's attempts to charge near Shushi repelled overnight

Multiple attempts by Azerbaijani units to attack in the direction of Shushi were repelled overnight, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army reported on Friday, November 6.

Combat operations continued along all the main sections of the frontline. The Defence Army waged effective defense battles and inflicted heavy equipment and personnel losses on Azerbaijan on the eastern, southern, and southwestern fronts.

The adversary also has sustained serious losses in the southwestern front, near Berdzor.

Three civilians were killed in the adversary's shelling of civilian settlements in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) overnight. The Azerbaijani-Turkish forces kept the cities of Shushi and Stepanakert under intense fire throughout the night. Several houses were set on fire in Shushi as a result of the rocket attack, and there is destruction in the capital Stepanakert as well.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
