Armenian boxer Artur Bazeyan becomes U-22 European champion

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian boxer Artur Bazeyan has become an Under-22 European champion in the 56kg category, the Boxing Federation of Armenia reports.

In his final bout, Bazeyan defeated the Irish boxer Adam Brian Hession by knockout to snatch victory. It was the first championship title of the Armenian team this season at prestigious tournaments.

Hambardzum Hakobyan, also representing Armenia, lost to his Russian rival in the final and took silver.
