WB EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR EMPHASIZED IMPORTANCE OF DEVELOPING WB COOPERATION WITH ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - World Bank executive director Peter Steck and Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian confirmed the importance of developing business relations between Armenia and the WB. Peter Steck, who has represented Armenia in the WB Council for already 6 years, noted obvious progress of activity in the water management sphere of the Republic of Armenia. At the same time he still noted that series of works should be carried out in the field. The strategic program on poverty reduction in Armenia, the process of reform of the energy sphere and the WB contribution to various branches of the country economy were discussed in the course of the meeting.
