Turkish army representation to be established in Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Turkish Armed Forces will be represented in Azerbaijan by a special command group.

The group included General Abdullah Gatirci, General Ender Guner, who will head the command headquarters, and Turkish military attaché General Zakaria Yalci, Sputnik Armenia writes.

Major General Bakhtiyar Ersay, chief of the operational unit of the ground forces of Turkey, has been appointed to lead the group.

Vzglyad newspaper earlier cited sources in the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry as saying that Ersay was in charge of a group of Turkish soldiers who were directly involved in organizing hostilities against the Armenian forces in Nagorno-Karabakh.
