Armenia's Rafik Harutyunyan (81 kg weight category) on Wednesday, September 29 won gold at the European Junior & U23 Weightlifting Championships, currently underway in Finland.

Harutyunyan raised a total of 345 kg above his head to claim the champion's title.

Armen Grigoryan (73 kg), also representing Armenia, took the fifth spot in his category earlier.
