HRD's representatives visit newly-released Armenian captives

PanARMENIAN.Net - The representatives of the Armenian Human Rights Defender, including a doctor, have visited the prisoners of war who returned from captivity in Azerbaijan on Tuesday, October 19.

The Ombudsman's staff were expected to asses their health, one day after they were repatriated through the mediation of the Russian side.

Lawmaker Narek Ghahramanyan from the ruling Civil Contract party revealed the names of the five former PoWs: Mels Ambardanyan, Rafik Karapetyan, Zhora Manukyan, Sedrak Soghomonyan and Hovsep Manukyan.
