Karabakh gearing up for spreading Covid-19

PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Minister Artak Beglaryan said on Monday, October 25 that the situation with the coronavirus pandemic is getting worse in the country.

With dozens of new cases recorded each day, more than 140 patients are currently hospitalized, 76 of them in critical and serious condition, Beglaryan revealed. According to him, hospitals are running out of beds.

"There have been four deaths in recent days, one of whom was a 40-year-old woman with no underlying health conditions but major lung infection," Beglaryan said.

The State Minister urged the public to follow safety rules, get vaccinated, refrain from gathering in large groups and stop giving in to unconfirmed reports and information.

According to him, should the situation get even worse, Karabakh will have to impose mechanisms making vaccinations "somewhat mandatory."
