According to Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan, all of them had underlying health conditions․ The Minister told a press conference on Monday, November 29 that 102 out of 2009 people currently hospitalized with Covid – or 3.5% of them – have been vaccinated against the disease. Avanesyan also said Armenia is planning to restrict travel from South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar and Tanzania, where omicron – the new coronavirus variant – is most wide-spread.
