Civil Contract to nominate Kristine Grigoryan for Armenia HRD post

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's ruling Civil Contract party will nominate Kristine Grigoryan for the post of the Human Rights Defender of the country.

If approved, Grigoryan, who currently serves as Deputy Justice Minister, will replace Arman Tatoyan in the position. The latter was elected by the Parliament in 2016 for a period of 6 years.

Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan said in October that authorities in Armenia are dissatisfied with the activity of Tatoyan.
