Azerbaijan to join over 30 int'l drills in 2022 – Defense Ministry

PanARMENIAN.Net - Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan will take part in more than 30 international exercises and competitions in 2022, the country's Ministry of Defense reports, according to Interfax.az.

“The Azerbaijani military personnel will participate in such international exercises and competitions as the 2022 editions of Eternity, EFES, Unbreakable Brotherhood, Winter, and International Army Games," the Defense Ministry said.

The International Army Games is an annual Russian military sports event which involves close to 30 countries taking part in dozens of competitions over two weeks.

Eternity drills are joint military exercises involving Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan, while EFES is one of Turkey's biggest military exercises.
