Azerbaijani military fires 120-mm mortars towards Karabakh school

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military has fired 120-mm mortars towards the school of the Nagorno-Karabakh village of Khnapat, local police has said.

No casualties were reported after at least two shells landed in the area on Friday, March 11.

In another village, the Azerbaijanis used loudspeakers to spread panic among the residents and force them to leave their homes.

The Azerbaijanis have been attempting to make Karabakh residents flee in the past several weeks now. A civilian was injured in Azerbaijan's shooting from across the contact line on Thursday, the Karabakh police said. The man identified as Suren Baghdasaryan (b. 1971) sustained a back injury when doing agricultural work after a shell exploded in his backyard.
