Wrestler Arsen Harutyunyan wins European Championships title

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Arsen Harutyunyan defeated Turkey’s Süleyman Atli to become champion at the European Wrestling Championships by winning the men’s 61-kilogram freestyle final in Budapest.

Harutyunyan thus earned the second European Championship gold medal of his career, with a comfortable 15-3 win over Atli.

Bronze medals were secured by Poland’s Eduard Grigorev and Bulgaria’s Georgi Vangelov.

Armenian freestyle wrestlers Arman Andreasyan and Manvel Khndzrtsyan won silver and bronze, respectively, on the opening day of the Championships.
