Armenia's Rosa Linn qualifies for Eurovision final

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Rosa Linn is through to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, cementing her position on the first of the semi-finals on Tuesday, May 10.

Across the week, 40 countries will be performing as part of the Eurovision 2022 line-up, and only 17 countries are competing for a chance in Saturday's big final.

Tuesday's semi-final allowed 9 other acts to progress to Saturday's final too: Switzerland, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, Greece, Ukraine, Moldova and the Netherlands.

Russia, meanwhile, has been banned from competing in this year's contest, with organisers saying the country's participation could "bring the competition into disrepute", the BBC reports.
