Armenian triple jumper wins bronze at World Athletics Continental Tour

PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of Armenia's athletics team, triple jumper Levon Aghasyan has won a bronze medal at the World Athletics Continental Tour held in Marseille, France.

During his 4th attempt, however, Aghasyan sustained an injury to his right heel and could not continue with the jump.

"In any event, I'm moving forward. I will come back stronger," he said following the event.

The Armenian athletics team earlier won 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals at the European Junior Championships held in Malta.
