Armenia launching ferry service in August, Minister says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ferry service will start operating from August, the schedule will be published in the coming days, Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan has said, according to Armenpress.

Although the launch of the ferry service took much time, Kerobyan noted that it will certainly be launched this month.

"All issues have been resolved, and now the only problem that still needs to be agreed upon is that for each product we will need to obtain permits online in order to be able to transport a given batch," Kerobyan said.

"And it seems that we are ready to publish the schedule. This will happen in the coming days," Kerobyan said.

Kerobyan had revealed earlier that Armenia was planning to start ferry crossings from June 15, 2022.
