At least 49 Armenian servicemen killed in Azerbaijan's attack – Pashinyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Tuesday, September 13 that at least 49 Armenian servicemen have been killed in Azerbaijan’s large-scale attack.

Pashinyan told lawmakers in the National Assembly that the death could rise after clarifications from the Defense Ministry.

The Prime Minister said that the intensity of military hostilities has decreased but that fighting continues in at least two sections.

The Defense Ministry said on Tuesday morning that the situation had not changed significantly, with the Azerbaijani military continuing to shell the Armenian positions and civilian homes. Photos published online show damage to residential buildings in villages situated the closest to the border.
