Gas supply to Karabakh resumed, says State Minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Minister Ruben Vardanyan has announced on Facebook that gas supply to Artsakh has been restored “without any preconditions, without any concessions from the Armenian side.”

Vardanyan also said that the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, which has been blocked by self-described Azerbaijani activists for several days no, could be opened on December 16.

According to him, such a decision has been made by the Azerbaijani side under international pressure. Vardanyan also cited an ECHR decision obliging Azerbaijan to open the corridor by December 19.

Vardanyan also said that lessons should be learned from the situation, because Azerbaijan will not rest and will continue to exert pressures on Artsakh.

For several days now, the key road has been blocked by Azerbaijanis who claim to be environmentalists. Azerbaijan had also deprived the people of Karabakh of gas supplies.”
