PACE Co-Rapporteur on Мigration in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - PACE Co-Rapporteur on Migration, Refugees and Population John Greenway will be visiting Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan on May 5-8. John Greenway is currently in Yerevan.



In his conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, RA NA Speaker, Hovik Abrahamyan's Press Secretary, Nairi Petrosyan informed that John Greenway is preparing a report on rights of permanently displaced persons in ЕEurope.



PACE Co-Rapporteur who arrived yesterday evening, has already conducted a number of meetings in Armenia. John Greenway met NGO representatives for refugees and displaced persons' issues, as well as RA NA Human Rights Commission Chairman, Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan and Migration Agency Head Gagik Yeghanyan. John Greenway plans a visit to Nork Community refugees' hostel and a meeting with RA Ombudsman's Counselor Genya Petrosyan, NA Speaker's Press Secretary reported.



At 17:15 John Greenway met RA Parliamentary Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.
