Seven Armenians make it to FIDE rankings

PanARMENIAN.Net - Seven Armenian grandmasters have made it to FIDE’s rating of top chess players for April.

In particular, Haik M. Martirosyan, Gabriel Sargissian and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan from the men’s team, and Elina Danielian, Anna M. Sargsyan, Lilit Mkrtchian and Mariam Mkrtchyan from the women’s team made it to the list.

Levon Aronian and Samuel Sevian – both Armenian representing the United States – have landed in the 22nd and 38th positions of the rankings.
