Russia provides info about arrested Armenian ex-MP

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian law enforcement agencies have provided information about the arrest of a wanted former member of the National Assembly, Tigran Urikhanyan.

"Yes, the Russian side has provided information about that," said Narek Sargsyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Armenpress reports.

In September 2023, a criminal case was opened against Urikhanyan for “calling for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order in the country”. Then Urikhanyan published a video on social networks calling for people to take to the streets.
