Armenia, U.S. consider direct flightsJune 20, 2024 - 13:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan and U.S. State Department Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs Sarah Morgenthau have discussed the possibility of launching direct flights between the two countries, according to a statement from the Ministry press service. The two met on Wednesday, June 19 and discussed the participation of American companies in various infrastructure projects in Armenia, including in the field of road construction, as well as attracting American investment. Sanosyan also presented details of the Armenian government's Crossroads of Peace project. The meeting participants talked about the situation in Lori and Tavush after the flood. Morgenthau noted that the restoration of bridges and other infrastructure in the disaster area is the focus of their attention. A number of other issues too were reportedly on the table.
