Armenia presides over EAEU Industrial Policy Council meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 6th meeting of the EAEU Industrial Policy Council was held in Yekaterinburg, Russia under the chairmanship of the Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports.

The main directions of industrial cooperation within the EAEU for the period until 2030 were discussed at the meeting. “It is important to develop common mechanisms aimed at supporting the industrial sector, promoting innovation, technological modernization and increasing the competitiveness of products,” Papoyan said in his welcoming speech.

The agenda included issues related to the possibilities for the development of robotics, the development of an interstate program for the production and implementation of industrial robots, as well as financial support provided for the implementation of joint cooperation projects in the industrial sectors of the EAEU.
