Two killed as AN-2 plane crashes in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two people were killed as an AN-2 plane crashed near the town of Yeghvard in Armenia’s Kotayk province on Friday, July 19, the Emergency Service of the Interior Ministry reports.

The emergency management center of Kotayk Regional Rescue Department was alerted about the incident at 09:30 am.

Firefighters, rescuers and medical teams have rushed to the site. Director of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, acting Deputy Minister, Colonel Yegor Karapetyan is coordingating the work at the scene of the incident.
