Armenia assumes presidency of Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has assumed the presidency of the Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities (MNRA), Armenpress reports.

The presidency was assumed by the Commission on Television and Radio of Armenia during the 23rd plenary assembly of MNRA in Yerevan, Armenia.

The assembly focused on key topics such as AI, principles of regulating audiovisual platforms, as well as the present and future of radio.

The Commission on Television and Radio of Armenia, in a statement, said it expects productive cooperation in various formats after assuming the MNRA presidency.

Commission on Television and Radio Chairman Tigran Hakobyan said joint programs aimed at tackling disinformation and hate speech must be focused on.

Kosovo’s Independent Media Commission was elected MNRA Vice President during the assembly.
