  Hamas announces resolution of issues in Israel truce deal January 17, 2025 - 16:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Palestinian movement Hamas announced that obstacles caused by Israel in implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip have been resolved. “Mediators’ efforts this morning resolved the obstacles that arose due to Israel’s failure to comply with the terms of the ceasefire agreement,” the movement’s official statement reads, according to RIA Novosti. Hamas also noted that the list of Palestinian prisoners to be released in the first phase of the agreement will be published soon. Earlier, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the first hostages could be freed from Gaza on January 19. This will be possible if Israel’s military-political cabinet approves the agreement reached with Hamas.
