PM: Armenia interested in unlocking regional economic potential

PanARMENIAN.Net - During a joint press conference with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of inclusivity in both regional and interregional projects.

“In this context, we highlight Armenia’s interest and readiness to join the Black Sea electric cable project,” he stated, according to 1lurer.am .

Pashinyan also stressed Armenia’s commitment to reopening and fully restoring regional economic infrastructure, which, he noted, must be achieved with full respect for each country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and inviolability of borders.

“We have underlined the importance of implementing the Armenian government's ‘Crossroads of Peace’ initiative, which offers concrete and tangible prospects for Armenia, Georgia, and other countries in our region.”

A private meeting was held between Prime Ministers Nikol Pashinyan and Irakli Kobakhidze, followed by a session of the Armenia-Georgia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, chaired by both leaders.
