NSS ex-head: we're drifting away from formula of having a state

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former acting director of the National Security Service and lawyer Mikayel Hambardzumyan stated in a Facebook post that "we are drifting away from the formula of having a state day by day."

"In the 2009 American film Taking Chance, the story follows the ceremonial escort of a fallen U.S. soldier's remains to his hometown for burial.

The military, ordinary citizens, and state and local officials pay tribute in an organized and honorable manner, recognizing that the soldier gave his life for the homeland—for each of them, for today and tomorrow.

Drawing a parallel to our reality, one cannot help but recall the shameful and false narrative that 'the taxpayer is the national hero.'

We are moving away from the formula of having a state—day by day. This cannot continue," he wrote.
