Mirzoyan: ensuring a peaceful environment top priority

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the occasion of Diplomat’s Day, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the significance of the country’s diplomatic service in state-building, overcoming challenges, and advancing international cooperation.

Mirzoyan noted that both the world and the region are facing complex and unpredictable challenges, making the work of diplomats more crucial than ever. He stressed that creating a peaceful, secure, and stable environment around Armenia remains a key priority, along with fostering economic opportunities and promoting the international cooperation agenda.

He recalled that on March 2, 1992, Armenia’s tricolor was raised at the UN headquarters, marking the country’s entry into the family of independent nations.

According to the minister, over the past three decades, diplomacy has been an integral part of strengthening Armenia’s sovereignty and addressing global challenges.

The foreign minister underscored the importance of professionalism in diplomatic service, stating that only through dedication, adaptability, and expertise can Armenia successfully navigate current challenges.

Concluding his message, Mirzoyan congratulated all diplomats, expressing gratitude for their devoted service and confidence in achieving success together.
