Pashinyan presents ‘Real Armenia’ as vision for future![]() March 13, 2025 - 11:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on his Facebook page that discussions on the ‘Real Armenia’ ideology project have commenced. "I present an excerpt from the discussion held yesterday on the ‘Real Armenia’ ideology, including a Q&A session. To participate in the discussions, please send an email only to RealArmenia@gov.am," the post stated. Pashinyan also shared a video from the meeting. In his speech, Pashinyan stated that the ‘Real Armenia’ ideology, in his view, is a project for the future. "It is a future-oriented project that is being implemented in the present, under current conditions, starting from today. This is an important nuance. Our perception of the future often has a gap because we imagine it as something dreamlike, disconnected from today, whereas the applicable model of the future is the one being realized now," he said. He emphasized that when speaking about the future, it is often perceived as something distant that does not yet require concrete actions, whereas "there is no time for the future, because the future is today." According to him, if we say that we will work for the future later, that future is already lost. Earlier, Pashinyan, while presenting the principles of the ‘Real Armenia’ ideology, stressed the importance of adopting a new Constitution. He said that holding a nationwide referendum to approve a new Constitution is crucial, as past referendums “lacked legitimacy in public perception.” Pashinyan stated that the main goal of the new Constitution is to move away from the "remnant practices of a stateless nation" and to establish a "state-building people’s working model" based on constitutional solidarity and democratic participation. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
