Protest planned outside Azerbaijan’s embassy in Berlin

PanARMENIAN.Net - A protest is set to take place in front of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Berlin on March 14. German historian and MP Tessa Hofmann announced the event in a post, as reported by Armenpress.

Demonstrators will call for the release of Armenian prisoners of war detained in Baku.

Azerbaijan has confirmed that it holds 23 Armenian captives.

Baku has arrested and brought fabricated charges against former leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh, including ex-presidents Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, and Arayik Harutyunyan, as well as former parliamentary speaker Davit Ishkhanyan, ex-foreign minister Davit Babayan, former defense minister Levon Mnatsakanyan, his deputy Davit Manukyan, and former state minister Ruben Vardanyan.

Additionally, unfounded charges have been filed against Vasily Beglaryan, Erik Ghazaryan, Davit Alaverdyan, Gurgen Stepanyan, Levon Balayan, Madat Babayan, Garik Martirosyan, and Melikset Pashayanyan.
